The Largvisi Monastery is a medieval Georgian Orthodox foundation in the village of Largvisi, a few kilometres north of Tskhavati in the Ksani river valley. Like Tskhavati, it sits in the part of Shida Kartli that became a conflict zone after the 2008 war between Georgia and Russia, and the area's disputed political status has left its heritage poorly documented and minimally conserved.
The monastery complex includes a main church and surrounding walls. For travellers already visiting the Tskhavati area, it is a possible second stop, but access depends on the current security situation in the Akhalgori district and should be checked in advance with local contacts or the Georgian Tourism Administration.
