A small but well-curated municipal museum covering the geology and wildlife of the Swabian Alb region. The collection includes local minerals, fossils from the Jurassic limestone that underlies much of the area, and taxidermy displays of native birds and mammals. Rotating special exhibitions keep things fresh. It's a good rainy-day option and takes about an hour to see. Located just off the Münsterplatz in the old town centre.
