Alt Lübars is one of the oldest village cores inside Berlin's modern city limits. The small green, old farmhouses, and quiet lanes feel far removed from central Berlin, which is exactly the point: this is a good place to see how much rural history survived around the edge of the capital.
It takes some effort to reach by public transport, usually by S-Bahn to Waidmannslust and then a bus. Come for a slow walk rather than a single monument.
