Marburg's eating scene is driven by the student population, which means plenty of cheap and cheerful options, a decent number of vegetarian and international places, and a core of traditional Hessian restaurants serving roast pork and green sauce. The Marktplatz and the lanes immediately around it are where most places cluster. Prices are lower here than in Frankfurt.
