Apex is a small cultural centre and bar on the Burgstrasse with live jazz and folk most evenings, occasional theatre and cabaret, and a fairly serious beer list for a venue of its size. It is one of the longer-established alternatives to the student bars further south, and the audience trends slightly older. Check the website for the week's listings.
