The centre is small enough to walk everywhere that matters — sights, bars, and most of what students and visitors need are within a few minutes of the market square.
Cycling is the default for many residents. Bike lanes are widespread and the terrain is flat.
Buses cover the outer districts. For taxis, look out for PUK-Minicars — they operate without a taxi stand (wave one down on the street) and charge less than the standard white cabs.
