Azalea and Rhododendron Park Kromlau

Azalea and Rhododendron Park Kromlau is a 19th-century landscape garden near Bad Muskau, planted around lakes, paths, and carefully framed views. It is best known for Rakotzbrücke, the arched stone bridge whose reflection forms a perfect circle in still water, but the wider park is more than a photo stop.

Come in spring for the strongest colour, when the rhododendrons and azaleas are in bloom. Outside that season it is still a pleasant walk, with old trees, water, and enough space to slow down after the more formal Muskau Park.
