Ottofelsen is a jagged granite outcrop in the Harz woods above Wernigerode. Metal ladders and steps help you reach the top, where the view opens over forest, ridges, and, in clear weather, toward the Brocken. It has the satisfying feel of a small adventure without requiring a full mountain day.
