Husum's harbour is the town's natural centre. It sits inland but still belongs to the North Sea, with tides, working boats, warehouses, and restaurant terraces that feel more practical than pretty.
This is the right place to start a visit. Walk both sides of the basin, then drift into the old streets and market square behind it.
