Ammoudia is in Preveza prefecture, northwestern Greece. The nearest airport is Aktion (PVK), about 50 kilometres south; Corfu, Ioannina, and Igoumenitsa are all within two hours by car. From Athens it is a 5- to 6-hour drive via the Ionia Odos motorway.
There is no train. Buses run from Preveza and Igoumenitsa to nearby Parga, with a local transfer or taxi for the last 15 kilometres to Ammoudia. A car is the easiest way to reach both the village and the Necromanteion.
