A wide, sandy beach on the north coast of Kos, about 10 km west of Kos Town. The water is shallow and calm, making it a good choice for families. The beach is well-organized with sunbeds and umbrellas, and a handful of tavernas line the road behind. On clear days you get views across to the Turkish coast and the island of Pserimos. Part of the beach, toward the western end, is popular with naturists.
