The three main towns of the Danube Bend are easily reached from Budapest. Szentendre is on the HÉV suburban railway from Batthyány tér (line H5) — trains run every 20 minutes and the journey takes 40 minutes. Visegrád and Esztergom are reached by bus from Árpád Bridge bus station, or by river boat (Mahart PassNave) from Vigadó tér in summer.
The classic Danube Bend circuit combines all three towns in two days: take the HÉV to Szentendre, continue by bus through Visegrád to Esztergom, then return to Budapest by bus or train from Esztergom. The river boat from Esztergom is the most scenic return option but operates only in summer.
