Eating Out

Mosonmagyaróvár is not a culinary destination but it has enough decent places to keep you fed for a day or two. The town's proximity to Austria means menus often run to schnitzels, goulash, and freshwater fish from the Mosoni-Danube alongside the standard Hungarian repertoire. Prices are noticeably lower than across the border. Look around the main pedestrian street and the riverside for the better options.
