Mosonmagyaróvár sits on the main Budapest–Vienna corridor — both the M1 motorway and the InterCity trains pass through. Trains from Budapest take around 1h45, from Vienna around 50 minutes. Bratislava is closer still, about 35 minutes by car along the M15. The station is on the southern edge of town, a 25-minute walk or a short taxi ride from the centre.
