Fabricius House is one of the finest old merchant houses on Sopron's main square, with Gothic, Baroque, and later details packed into a building that grew with the fortunes of its owners. The Gothic hall, courtyard loggia, and old cellars are the architectural highlights.
It also works as a compact museum. Exhibits cover Roman stonework from ancient Scarbantia, archaeology along the Amber Road, and the domestic interiors of Sopron's prosperous 17th- and 18th-century citizens.
