The Former Zichy-Meskó Palace is one of the baroque town palaces in Sopron's historic centre. Its details reward a slow look: an enclosed balcony, arched courtyard entrance, wrought-iron stair gates, stone figures, and traces of 18th-century interior decoration.
It is a brief architectural stop rather than a full museum visit, but it fits naturally into a walk through the old streets around Fő tér and Kolostor Street.
