Miklós Bertényi Botanical Garden is a signed nature trail near Visegrád, with about 20 information boards through a mix of Alpine and sub-Mediterranean plants. The route also points out local geology, including andesite and loess slopes above the Danube Bend.
It is a gentle, green add-on to the castle and palace sights, better for walkers and plant-minded travellers than anyone chasing a dramatic viewpoint.
