Visegrad's sights are concentrated and easy to cover: the Visegrad Citadel on the hill, the Royal Palace in the lower town, and the Salamon Tower by the river take the better part of a day. The setting on the Danube Bend is exceptional — most visitors come as much for the scenery as the medieval monuments. The town is easily combined with Esztergom and Szentendre on a Danube Bend circuit from Budapest.
