Coolmore House

Coolmore House is a Georgian manor house east of Carrigaline, set in parkland grounds. The house dates from the 18th century and represents the kind of Anglo-Irish landed estate that was common across County Cork before independence. The building is a good example of the restrained classical style typical of Irish Georgian architecture.

The house is private but visible from the public road, and the surrounding landscape — rolling pasture and mature woodland — is characteristic of the East Cork countryside. It's most interesting for visitors with a particular interest in Georgian architecture or Irish estate history.
