Priest's Leap

Priest's Leap is a steep, narrow mountain pass northeast of Glengarriff, linking the West Cork side with the high road toward Bonane and Kenmare. It is one of those Irish roads that looks impossible on a map and only slightly more plausible when you meet another car on it.

The reward is a raw view over rough upland, stone walls, and distant water. Drive it only in good visibility and with patience; this is a scenic detour, not the efficient way anywhere.
