Lady's Island Lake is a protected coastal lagoon rather than a conventional lake, separated from the sea by a shingle barrier and watched closely for its rare habitat. It is one of south Wexford's strongest nature stops, especially for birds.
The mood is quiet: water, reeds, low fields, and the Atlantic very close by. It works well as a slow detour from Rosslare if you are interested in terns, coastal ecology, or simply want a less built-up piece of the Wexford coast.
