Rosslare is not a destination in its own right — most people are here because of the ferry to Wales or France. If you have time to spare before or after a crossing, the beach is the main attraction: Rosslare Strand stretches for several kilometres and is one of the sandier and sunnier beaches on the Irish coast. The area around Wexford town, 20 kilometres north, has considerably more to see.
