Christ Church Cathedral is Waterford's Church of Ireland cathedral, built in Georgian style between 1773 and 1779. It replaced a medieval Gothic cathedral on the same site, linking the present building to the city's long ecclesiastical history.
The cathedral stands beside Waterford's main museums, so it is an easy addition to a walk through the Viking Triangle.
