Sulmona's shopping calling card is its confetti, the sugar-coated almonds made here since the 15th century. Half a dozen shops along Corso Ovidio sell them, alongside Pelino's confetti museum on the edge of town. The Wednesday and Saturday morning market on Piazza Garibaldi is also worth a stop for local produce and the occasional craft stall.
