Baia Imperiale

A few kilometres up the headland in Gabicce Mare, Baia Imperiale is one of the largest and most famous open-air nightclubs on the entire Italian Riviera. The complex — built as an enormous neo-Roman folly with columns, pools, terraces and three separate dance floors — holds several thousand people on a busy summer Saturday.

It is not for everyone: bottle service, dress codes, queues, and entry prices that climb steeply at peak hours. But it is part of the Romagna Riviera experience, and the resident DJs and headliners are some of the better names on the Italian club circuit. Open Friday and Saturday nights from late June to early September.
