Riccione takes its nightlife seriously. The town has been a summer party destination since the 1970s and has some of the most famous clubs in Italy. The scene runs from beach bars and aperitivo spots to proper clubs that draw DJs from across Europe.
The beach concessions run their own bars and aperitivo events in the late afternoon — from around 5 p.m. the louder sections play music and serve Aperol Spritz to people who haven't quite left the beach yet. The real nightlife starts after midnight and keeps going until dawn in high season.
