Getting There

Riccione is easy to reach from most of northern Italy and is well connected by train and road.

By Train

Riccione has its own station on the Adriatic Coast railway line, with frequent services to Rimini (10 minutes), Ancona (1.5 hours south), and Bologna (1 hour 20 minutes). From Bologna you can connect to high-speed trains to Milan, Florence, and Rome. The station is in the western part of town, about 1.5 kilometers from the beach.

By Air

The nearest airport is Federico Fellini International Airport in Rimini, about 10 kilometers north. Ryanair and several other European carriers fly there in summer. Taxis and buses connect the airport to Riccione.

By Car

The A14 motorway runs close to Riccione and is the main route from Bologna and northern Italy. Traffic on the A14 in July and August can be very heavy, particularly on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Parking in Riccione near the beach in peak season requires patience and payment.
