The Stadio Friuli, sponsored as Bluenergy Stadium, is home to Udinese Calcio — Friuli's only Serie A club. The 25,000-seat stadium was completely rebuilt in 2016 and is now one of the more modern grounds in Italy, with seating right on top of the pitch.
Udinese play between September and May; tickets are easy to get for most matches. The stadium has also hosted concerts (Vasco Rossi, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay) and the occasional Italian national team game. It is 4 kilometres west of the centre.
