Taverna Etrusca

A popular osteria in the historic centre with a menu that leans into the Etruscan and medieval identity of Viterbo — roast meats, local cheeses, charcuterie from the Cimini hills, and pasta dressed with ragù of wild boar or hare. The wine list features bottles from the Colli Etruschi Viterbesi DOC, the local appellation covering the volcanic soils around Viterbo.

Tables spill onto a small courtyard in summer. The outdoor seating is pleasant but fills quickly; arrive early or book. Piazza della Rocca, near the Rocca Albornoz fortress.
