Cisano is a quick stop, not a base — half an hour through the medieval centre, a climb to the Castello di Conscente above, and you've seen most of it. The real point is to use it as a quiet, inexpensive alternative to staying in Albenga on the coast, then walking or cycling through the olive groves and vines of the lower Neva valley.
