Getting There

Corniglia is served by train on the La Spezia–Genoa line, with the station sitting at the foot of the cliff below the village. From there it's a 15-minute climb up the Lardarina staircase (382 steps) or a short shuttle bus ride to the village centre. A ferry calls at Corniglia in summer, and the coastal trail connects the village to Vernazza and Manarola on foot.

By train: Corniglia station is on the main La Spezia–Sestri Levante line. All regional trains stop here; journey time from La Spezia is about 20 minutes.

By ferry: Seasonal ferries run along the Cinque Terre coast. Corniglia has a small landing stage but note that the ferry does not stop in rough weather. Check timetables at navigazionegolfodeipoeti.it.

By road: A narrow road climbs to the village from the Via Aurelia, but parking is very limited. Most visitors arrive by train.

By air: The nearest airports are Cristoforo Colombo (Genoa, 90 km) and Galileo Galilei (Pisa, 100 km). Both have good rail connections to the Cinque Terre.
