Pan e Vin

A small enoteca and takeaway window in the middle of Via Fieschi. The counter sells focaccia di Recco, cones of fried anchovies and squid, slabs of farinata, and bruschette with the local olive oil. Behind it, a few tables in a vaulted back room serve simple plates of cured meats, local cheeses, and pasta.

It is the best stop in the village for a quick lunch — a paper cone of fried fish and a glass of Cinque Terre white can be had for under fifteen euros — and the staff will pour you a tasting of three local whites if you ask.
