The Castello della Meridiana sits above Garlenda at the hamlet of Pragliano. The current building is a 17th-century reconstruction of an older fortification; it is now a hotel, so the interior is not freely accessible. The exterior and surrounding gardens are attractive and the elevated position gives good views over the Lerrone valley. The approach road from Garlenda passes through vineyards and is a pleasant walk or short drive in itself.
