A tiny open-terrace bar perched on a rocky promontory just west of the harbour, with what is probably the most photographed view in the Cinque Terre. The menu is brief — pesto-making demos, focaccia with various toppings, bruschette, a glass of Sciacchetrà — but the food is honestly made and the spot is unforgettable.
You cannot book and the wait can be long. Either come at opening time (around 10:30) or be ready to leave your name and walk down to the harbour for a swim while you wait. The terrace closes from late October to spring.
