Manarola eats Ligurian — pesto, anchovies (the acciughe di Monterosso are the regional benchmark), focaccia, fritto misto, trofie pasta, and a glass of crisp Vermentino or the sweet Sciacchetrà to finish. The harbourside places lean expensive and touristy; the better kitchens are higher up.
