Noli packs a surprising amount into a small space. The medieval old town repays slow wandering, the Church of San Paragorio is one of the finest Romanesque buildings in Liguria, and the castle ruins on Monte Ursino offer views that justify the climb. Just offshore, the extraordinary Nemo's Garden — an underwater farm in transparent biospheres — is unlike anything else on the Italian coast. The beach itself is good, and the marine area around Capo Noli offers excellent snorkelling and diving.
