Onzo is a small village in the upper Arroscia valley, roughly 80 kilometres southwest of Genoa and 45 kilometres southwest of Savona. There is no train service to the village; the nearest railway station is Albenga on the coast, about 25 kilometres south.
By car, Onzo is reached via the SP12 from Albenga up the Arroscia valley, passing through Villanova d'Albenga. The drive from Albenga takes around 35 minutes on winding mountain roads. From the A10 motorway, exit at Albenga and follow signs toward Pieve di Teco. There is limited but free parking at the edge of the village.
Bus connections from Albenga exist but are infrequent — check the Riviera Trasporti timetables in advance, as services may not run daily. Having a car is strongly recommended for exploring this part of the Ligurian hinterland.
