Onzo is a village of a few hundred people in the upper Arroscia valley, surrounded by olive groves and terraced hillsides below Monte Peso Grande. There is not much to do in the conventional sense — that is part of the appeal. The medieval village, the ruined castle, and the surrounding walking trails offer a quiet half-day or a peaceful base for exploring the Ligurian hinterland.
