Parish Church of San Nicolò

Eighteenth-century church with Marseilles Cathedral's wooden choir

Built in the second half of the eighteenth century, this is Pietra Ligure's main church — a large rectangular interior under a frescoed vault, lined with chapels of varying sizes. Its most notable possession is a sixteenth-century wooden choir that originally belonged to Marseilles Cathedral. A collection of paintings fills the side chapels.
