The Immaculate Conception church and former Capuchin convent sit above the Bay of Silence, giving one of Sestri Levante's best short climbs. The 17th-century religious complex is modest inside, but the setting is the point: sea, rooftops, and the curve of Baia del Silenzio below.
It works well with the walk around the old town and the headland churches. Go in clear weather, when the Ligurian coast opens up from the terrace.
