Villa Olmo

Neoclassical lakefront villa with free public gardens and rotating exhibitions

Address Via Cantoni 1

This stately neoclassical villa at the northern edge of the lakefront promenade was built in the 1780s for the Odescalchi family. Its grounds run down to the water and its colonnaded facade is one of Como's most photographed views. The villa hosts rotating exhibitions — often on science, design, or local history — and the lakeside gardens are open to the public for free.
