International and long distance buses arrive and depart from Piazza Castello, in front of the Castello Sforzesco.
by air:
Milan has got two airports: Linate and Malpensa. Linate is the closer one, 7km from city centre and connected with the airport bus terminal at Stazione Centrale every 20 minutes (in the evening every 30 min). Also ordinary city buses (no. 73) run from Linate to the centre (Piazza San Babila). The other airport, Malpensa, is 50 km away towards Lago Maggiore, connected by bus with the main train station.
