The historic centre of Monza is compact and easy to cover on foot. The park is large enough to warrant a bicycle — rental is available near the park entrances — and cycling is the best way to see the full circuit, the Villa Mirabellino, and the more distant woodland areas. City buses connect the station to the park. During the Italian Grand Prix weekend in September, the park is completely transformed and approaching by public transport is strongly recommended.
