CAMERA is Turin's main centre for photography, with changing exhibitions that range from Italian documentary work to international contemporary practice. It adds a modern visual stop to a city better known for royal palaces, arcades, cafés, and the cinema museum.
Because the programme changes, check the current exhibition before going. When the show is strong, CAMERA is an excellent compact visit: central, thoughtful, and easy to combine with a walk through the elegant streets between Piazza Carlo Emanuele II and the Po.
