When to Go

Spring and autumn are the best times to visit Turin. April through June brings mild temperatures, blooming parks, and cultural events including the Turin Book Fair in May. September and October offer warm days, the Salone del Gusto food festival, and easy access to the truffle season in the surrounding hills.

Summers are warm to hot, averaging around 24 degrees Celsius in July, with occasional thunderstorms. Winters are cold and often foggy, with temperatures hovering around 3 degrees in January, though the nearby Alpine ski resorts become the main draw. Rain is most common in May and during autumn.
