Molesini occupies a corner on Piazza della Repubblica with one of the most carefully chosen wine lists in town. The shop sells wine, olive oil, and pecorino cheese alongside the more usual deli items; the enoteca next door pours glasses with substantial platters of cheese and salumi.
A good first stop on arriving in Cortona — pick up something for an evening meal, take a glass of Syrah at one of the small outdoor tables.
