The Museo Diocesano, across the small square from the cathedral, is a small museum of astonishing quality for a town of this size. The collection includes Fra Angelico's Annunciation and a Madonna and Child, Pietro Lorenzetti's Crucifixion, and works by the local Renaissance painter Luca Signorelli.
The deconsecrated 16th-century church of Gesù acts as the main exhibition space, with the lower-level frescoes by Cristofanello among the highlights. Allow 60 to 90 minutes. Closed in winter on weekdays.
