Monsummano sits between Pistoia and Lucca, off the A11 autostrada. Take the Montecatini Terme exit and follow signs east for a few kilometres. By train, the nearest useful station is Montecatini Terme on the Florence–Viareggio line; buses and taxis cover the short hop to Monsummano. Pisa airport is the closest international gateway, about an hour by road.
