A wood-panelled trattoria in a former pharmacy a few steps from the Campo. The menu changes weekly but the staples — pici with garlic and breadcrumbs, beef from the owner's farm in the Val d'Orcia, an honest wine list heavy on local Sangiovese — are reliable. The dining room is small; book a day or two ahead.
Mid-priced for the centre of Siena. The owners have their own vineyard in Montalcino and pour their Brunello by the glass.
