The most striking palazzo on Via di Città, with a curved Gothic façade following the line of the medieval street. It now houses the Accademia Musicale Chigiana, one of the world's most prestigious summer music schools, founded in 1932 by Count Guido Chigi-Saracini.
Free visits to the courtyard are usually possible during opening hours; the salons and the small art collection require a guided tour, which is worth taking. In July and August the Accademia hosts public concerts.
